Everyone knows mortgage lenders work with calculators, interest rates, stacks of paperwork, and monthly payments on a daily basis. Yet the most important part of this business are the people. A good mortgage loan officer knows that the mortgage business has, and will always be, a “people business.”
In simple terms, I act as a translator. I’ll decipher the acronyms, terminology, numbers, percentages, documentation, rules, and guidelines into a language that you—the home loan customer—can understand.
Once I help you understand the home loan process and you consider all your alternatives, we then move forward with a well-informed and educated decision.
I’m blessed to help people find new homes, first as a real estate broker then as a mortgage professional. I’m an expert in conventional, FHA/VA, USDA, custom construction, rehabs, and everything else related to home loans. I value honesty and integrity. If you ask me a question I don’t know the answer to I will be straight forward and tell you I don’t know, then get to work trying to find the answer.
When it comes to my profession, my favorite moment is when my customers’ eyes light up upon hearing that loan is approved. I love the competitive nature of the mortgage industry, as well as being able to take part in an industry that fuels our national economy like no other.
On the personal side, I’m extremely proud of my two daughters. One is a special needs teacher and the other is an operatic vocalist. Both have advanced college degrees. If I’m not at the office you can find me on the golf course or playing my bass guitar.
I also enjoy serving my community through my church and I’m a huge football fan — Go Hawks! Go Huskies! I love living in the Great Pacific Northwest because there isn’t another place like it in the world.
